OBITUARY
Morrie Gerber, age 96, of Highland Park, passed away on October 16, 2016 at home, in peace and surrounded by family. Beloved husband of the late Muriel Gerber, (nee Sorkin) for 65 years. Loving father of Abby (Mark) Neumann and Larry (Laura) Gerber. Cherished grandfather of Ross Neumann, Phillip (Maggie) Gerber, Neal Gerber, Daniel Gerber and Carly Gerber. Dearly loved brother of Selma (the late Warren) Erhardt, Lolly (Cy) Rosengarten, the late Robert (the late Shirley) Gerber, the late Lillian (the late William) Levin, and the late Bernard (the late Ruth) Gerber. Treasured son of the late Fannie (nee Levin) and the late Alec Gerber. Devoted uncle of many nieces and nephews. Elizabeth Pumah, a woman of incomparable friendship, whose generous and loving spirit compassionately cared for Morrie in his final years. Service Thursday, 12 PM at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 8851 Skokie Blvd., (at Niles Center Road) Skokie. Interment Shalom.
