Barry Steven Labovitz, age 81.

Beloved husband of Sheri Labovitz; loving father of Tracey, Nicole (Massimo) Serradimigni and Brian (Belinda) Labovitz; proud Poppy of Jordyn and Jacob Berkowitz and Alexander and Maxwell Labovitz; cherished brother of Marshele Labovitz. Loved and adored by many family, friends and colleagues. To know him was to love him and laugh with him. Service Tuesday, April 2 at 11AM, at Temple Beth Israel, 3601 Dempster St., Skokie. My brother had an extraordinary sense of humor. You could not be with him for a moment without laughing. His charisma could lighten up a room . He was an amazing person, and I will miss him.

Our sincere sympathy to your entire family. As a fellow Top Hat we had shared many good times. Spending six years in the Illinois National Guard together , also added to many stories. Barry will be missed by many who knew him. May he rest in peace and may his memory be a blessing.

Ours was an old and deep friendship. Barry was truly one of the good souls of this world. His sweetness has touched many of us during his lifetime. This is a tough one for me personally.
