OBITUARY

William "Bill" Newman, age 61 of Deerfield, IL passed away in hospice on Friday evening after a brief illness. Bill leaves behind family and friends that loved him dearly including his wife, Ann, sons Matthew and Michael, his mother Polly and the late Charles Newman, brothers Allan (Diane) and David (Naomi), in-laws (Violet, Dan, Mark, Mary Jo, Jean, Tom, Chris, Tony, Joy, Kathy, Jim) and his many nephews and nieces who could always make Bill smile. Bill worked many years as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor working with the disabled and was an avid tennis player and golfer. Memorial service Sunday 3 PM at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Road, Buffalo Grove, IL. Shiva immediately following service. Please call the funeral home for Shiva information. I remember Bill from WHS as a warm and caring person- always had a smile. Did not surprise me to learn his career work was as a rebab counselor. Mathew and Michael, I remember your dad as cool guy.

So Sorry to hear this news. Remembering Bill from both High School and early College years he was always full of energy with a strong will. Always fun to hang out with and be a part of the group. God Bless the Newman's and Bill.
