Edith Mary Skom PhD, nee Rosen
Beloved wife of Joseph Skom. Loving mother of Harriet (Ron) Meyer and the late Roger Skom. Cherished grandmother of Elaine Meyer, Arthur Meyer and Adele (Brad Alter) Meyer. She taught in the Writing Program at Northwestern University for 30 years and was a published author of three mystery novels and a talented artist. Service Tuesday, 12 noon at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 8851 Skokie Blvd (at Niles Center Road), Skokie. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name may be made to The Ark, 6450 N.
