Mr. Kamen always gave me a celebrity's welcome when I would visit their home. Like Paula he always made me feel better about myself after being in his kind company. I also remember how fondly he talked about his time at Amoco.

Joe and I worked closely at AMOCO for over 20 years. His consulting contributions were a bedrock fountation to the Marketing Research Department, and we depended heavily upon his expertise in all areas of survey research. His keen interpretations and insights were invaluable, both professionally and personally. May he rest in peace.

Thanks to everyone for these nice comments about my dad. I will print them out and show them to my mom. I especially appreciate the recognition from Bob and John from Amoco. (I do remember John Stitzell's name from my dad talking about him.) My dad did so many good things with so much integrity -- and that very easily gets forgotten. I know he took much pride in his work.

I worked with Joe for many years at AMOCO. He came to Moscow when we were considering building service stations there. He worked with a local customer research company to conduct focus groups among Russians. Joe's integrity never varied whether in the U.S. or internationally when it came to interpreting the results of those interviews.
Rest in peace Joe and thanks for all your help.
