A light has surely gone out in the lives of all who knew Bob. Our hearts are saddened. Bob was my medical school classmate, our dear friend and fellow devotee of the arts. Always upbeat, with a marvelous sense of humor, a keen insightful mind, and a true joie de vivre, he will be missed. Deepest condolences to all his family.

Bob was a trusted colleague and good friend for all the years of our careers. He was so appreciative of the nice get-togethers that we have had in recent years and he was such a gracious guest at our luncheons. How he will be missed!

Dr. G will sorely be missed. I worked with him for over 10 years and he always seemed to be laughing. His sense of humor was a needed relief dealing with all the changes we saw together in healthcare. He always had great stories and made you feel like you were truly his friend. I think everyone was. I looked forward to seeing him every week. At one meeting, he pulled out some home made sausage that a patient had brought him. She worked at a sausage factory on the west side. We laughed and ate the sausage for weeks. May your memories give you peace and comfort.

I have known Robert Greendale for over 20 years. It is a great loss to the medical community. He left his mark on all the people he has helped.

How ironic that the man who could help me grieve his passing the most is not here to do so. I still mourn the loss of an incredible man who brought me back to life even while losing his. May his memory be a blessing to us all.
