It was great to know Kathy (and the whole family), and share one of the most important days in our lives; the marriage of our oldest children: Yaakov and Sofia.
I will remember Kathy for her strength and courage but also for the amazing family she and Michael created.
I am sorry that we didn’t spend more time together, but I am sure that we will meet again. And when I see her again, I imagine seeing Kathy with her beautiful smile!
I will remember Kathy with love and admiration and keep her in my heart.

The most remarkable auto didactic. In addition to raising three extraordinary children -- and so many other virtues that will no doubt be described on these pages -- she managed to educate herself in both Jewish and western wisdom to the extent that she was often, in a group of rabbis, professors, and assorted Ph.Ds., the most knowledgeable of all, to say nothing of the most acute thinker. To be simultaneously so tough and so beloved in more than rate. A very great loss,

I met Kathy in the mid-1970's, in Chicago, when she was at University of Chicago and I was a roommate of one of her friends. We remained in touch over the years. When I lived in New London, CT, in the 80's, and she lived in Cambridge, I used to stay with her for weekends. In the 90's, she lived in New Haven, and I lived in Brookline, and would often visit her and her beautiful family in Connecticut.
Kathy was a warm and loyal friend, with forthright opinions and a wide range of interests. I learned a tremendous amount from her. She will always be in my heart.
My deepest condolences to her family. I know she loved each of you with every fiber of her being.

So very sorry to hear about Kathy.I met her when she first came to Arie Crown and couldn’t speak English.She was a quick learner though.We used to get together for sleep overs.I remember her being a. Avid bookworm.I remember her mom working as a cook at Arie Crown.May Hashem comfort you all.
