Beloved husband for 63 years of Estelle nee Jacobson. Loving father of Michael (Sheri Didech) Langendorf and Robert (Cindy) Langendorf. Proud grandfather of Emily (Daniel) Mysel, Amy Langendorf and Kevin Langendorf. Cherished great-grandfather of Max Mysel. Dear brother of Rosalyn (Edgar Rodger) Raffe. My daughter, Jodi and I, had the opportunity to know Sheldon for only a few months as a resident, along with my wife Joy, at North Shore Place. Jodi commented so many times, just how much she liked Sheldon and called him her favorite resident.
We will both miss him. Our condolences to Estelle and the whole family.

Please accept my most sincere and heartfelt condolences to you and your entire extended family and close friends. Sheldon called me decades ago to try to sell me his life insurance company. We became friends and worked together until recently when his health went sour. He was one of my closest, and truest friends. He always had my best interest at heart and he was an honest and truly caring man. He was proud of his family and shared many private thoughts as we were mutual confidants. He told me of his life experiences and problems. He always had a "deal" to share. He had from my perspective a colorful and rich life, the wealth of many friends and family. Rest easy Sheldon.

Very nice ceremony this morning and nice to hear of the "blessings" bestowed upon Sheldon's family by his family and upon his family by him. May he be remembered fondly and peacefully.
