Marv was a wonderful man and the consumate professional. I frequently looked to him for counsel during my career and thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent together in the Schaumberg office where I really got to know him. Strangely, I can hear his laugh as I write this - it's a great remembernce of him.

Marvin (and Susie) have been part of the 3 generation Anderson Family and of the family owned family for over 30+ year. Marvin was always generous with his time and sincere with his thoughts. The mere mention of his name, Marvin, and his bow tie brings a smile to all those who knew him and Marvin's candle and flame will forever bring HaShem's warmth and love to each of us.

Devotedly, Pam & Tom Anderson

Marv was a great colleague at AA&Co and I enjoy many hours learning from him including working with him at the 1980 White House Conference on Small Business. God bless his family.

Working with Marv for over 2 decades at Andersen, its easy to say the firm was great because of men and professionals like him. He was smart, spoke his mind and held himself (and others) to very high standards. But he also cared much for people. He mentored me and others consistently thru the years and was always available. Thank you Marv. You will be missed.

This is such sad news â?¦ ×?ר×?×? ×?×?×? ×?א×?ת. Our hearts are broken to hear this. He was really a wonderful person, and one of the people we admired most both during our time in Chicago and in the years after. All those good things that are mentioned in the obituary were matched by a man of such a gentle personality, passion and love for his family and community. For all his accomplishments in his career, he was someone who had a parallel track of a commitment to the building a sacred Jewish community. Such a person is worthy of honor. We send condolences to Susie, Alyssa, Reni and Aaron - and all their loved ones.

I started working with Arthur Andersen & Co in 1976, the year Marv became a partner. I lived on Hazel Ave. in Highland Park very near Marvâ??s home. One of the first days working downtown I rode the Chicago and Northwestern train and sat next to Marv. He showed me how to fold the Wall Street Journal for reading in the close confines of a commuter train.
And â?¦ a few other things over the years.

We are sorry to learn of Marv's passing. He was a good man, a good friend, and a valued partner. Marv was a very principled person. I worked with Marv at Arthur Andersen his entire career. We, along with Greg Kurr opened the first suburban office in Chicago. He often corrected my English and my writing skills. He was the perfect man to wear that bow tie. Our deepest sympathy to Susie and the family. We regret that we are out of town for his service. We will be thinking of you.
