Arlan Cable, age 73

Beloved husband of Phyllis nee Levin, loving father of Alana Cable, loving stepfather of Howard Miller, Mark Miller (Anne Cousineau) and Sandra (Dan) Leib; proud grandpa of Zoe, Samantha, Eli, Alison and Rebecca; dear brother of Herbert (Sandra)and Stewart. Project architect on notable Chicago projects such as Chicago Board of Trade addition, Northwestern Atrium Building (Ogilvie Station), O'Hare Blue Line Station and many others. For the past 20 yrs, Arlan developed his artistic talents via oil, water color and pastel works. He was a member of the Northshore Art League, Old Towne School of Art and The Art Institute of Chicago. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in Arlan's memory to the Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, www.lustgarten.org. Private graveside service will be held on Wednesday.
