OBITUARY
Myra L. Cohen nee Littmann, age 105
Was born March 2, 1909 in St. Louis to Edgar and Augusta Littmann, the oldest of three siblings (Ellis and Carol). She graduated from the University of Chicago in 1930 and married Lawrence Irmas Cohen in 1931, with whom she had three children...Alden (Suzanne Zoloto), the late Millard (the late Judy Michel) and the late Ellis (Sally Grant). She was active and president of the Bret Harte PTA, active in the Chicago Women’s Aid, president of Chicago Sinai Sisterhood and a Lifetime Honorary Trustee of Chicago Sinai Congregation...She was active and president of the American Bell Association International, and active and president of the Brandeis University National Women’s Committee, Chicago Chapter. She is survived by Alden (Susanne) Cohen, by Sally Cohen, by grandchildren Jordin (Bev Mann) Cohen, Laura Cohen (Michael Seale), Adam (Rosa Louie) Cohen, Amy Cohen, Michele (Michael) Steinberg, Tracey Cohen and Michael (Wendy) Cohen, by 10 great grandchildren and by her sister. Carol Littmann and by her niece Susie (Bob) Schulte and Ron (Suz) Littmann and her cousin Joe (Corinne) Annenberg. Private graveside burial was held at Oak Woods Cemetery. Funeral Service Sunday, 12 noon at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 8851 Skokie Blvd., (at Niles Center Road), Skokie.
