OBITUARY

Jean Mansfield Singer, age 90

Cherished daughter of the late Emma Nechama (Zand) and Louis Judah Mansfield. Beloved wife of the late Meyer "Mike" Singer. The best mother ever to Judy Singer Fleischer (Ken) and Rhonda Singer. Grammy extraordinaire to Benjamin (Erica) Fleischer, Rachel Fleischer (Avi Rubin), Tamara (Michael) Sidorov, Jonah (Tracy) Glick and Sara Glick. Great Grammy to Kobi, Nava, Amira, Rina, Max and Avery. Sister-in-law to Yetta Levee and special aunt to Arlene (Burton) Bernstein. Family was number one to Jean. Her love was deeply felt by her mother, aunts, uncles, cousins, nephew and nieces.She was Congregation Am Echad Sisterhood co-president and a Deborah Zahava Life Member. Service Sunday 12 Noon at Congregation Am Echad, 1424 West 183rd Street in Homewood. Interment Memorial Park in Skokie. I met my Aunt Jean when I was 22. She married my Dad's brother, Uncle Mike right after WW2. She was a wonderful, compassionate, joyful lady who taught me to love potato latkes. Much Love, Judy from Virginia
