Dr. Harold J. Feder, 93

Beloved husband for 75 years of Selma (nee Reisberg), loving father of Joel (Sally), Alvin (Linda), Marc (Eileen) and Robert (Janet); devoted grandfather of Michael (Debbie), Benjamin (Aly), Stephanie (David Streja), Isaac (Abbe), Nathan (Rebecca), Stephen (Sarah Huisenga), Jordan (Rachel) and Emily; cherished great grandfather of Parker, Paxton, Evelyn, Ava, Jackson and Lillian. Great friend of Rose Martin. Prominent Chicago podiatrist for more than 60 years. Veteran of U.S. Army Medical Corps in World War II. Past president Skokie Valley Agudath Jacob Synagogue and Congregation Oir Chodosh. Leader of many professional, religious and philanthropic organizations. Services 1PM Monday at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 8851 Skokie Blvd. (at Niles Center Road), Skokie. Interment Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations to charity of your choice. As an adolescent, my best friend Robert's father, Dr. Feder, was a tower of strength, fortifying family, ensuring religious honor and tradition, exuding hard work and optimism, and always maintaining a countenance of endearing pride.
