Funeral Details

Harold N. Swirsky formerly of Glencoe, IL, passed away May 24th in Raleigh, NC at the age of 92. He was predeceased by his wife of 64 years, Leona Edidin Swirsky, daughter Rhoda Swirsky, parents Max and Ethel Swirsky, two sisters and one brother. Harold was the sweetest, loveliest man who had deep affection for his family and friends. He had a love for opera and bridge, and was well known as the flower whisperer for the colorful, vibrant and abundant flowers surrounding his home every year. We will miss his smile and warmth and genuine consul and care. Survived by his son, Marvin (Carla), daughters Lauren (Rob) Loomis and Gail (Michael) Rabin and grandchildren Lizabeth (Mark) Goldberg, Benjamin (Amanda) Swirsky, Dan (Meghan) Burstine, Brady Loomis, Morgan Loomis and Andrew Rabin and three great granddaughters.
