Funeral Details

Sandra Ann Klibanow (nee Silver), affectionately known as Sandy, was born on January 9, 1939, in Chicago, IL, to her loving parents, Ethel and Herman Silver. She peacefully passed away on March 14, 2024, in Evanston, IL, at the age of 85.

Sandra will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her devoted husband Saul Klibanow, her cherished children Denise Klibanow (Neil Doruff), David (Donna) Klibanow, Diane (Brian) Francisco and the nieces and nephews who became part of her family when Sandy's brother passed; Dawn Silver, Robin Silver, Walter (Jenny) Silver, and Joseph Silver. Sandra's legacy also continues through her eleven grandchildren, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

A compassionate woman with a heart full of love, Sandra had a passion for helping animals and wildlife. The Funeral Service will be held, Monday, 12 Noon CST at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 8851 Skokie Boulevard (at Niles Center Road), Skokie. The Interment will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery, Skokie.
